Girls Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Kodiaks Take Talents to Collegiate Courts

CSS graduates, Laney S. ’17  and Jaydi S. ’17, will continue their athletic careers on the hardcourt this upcoming year.  After a stellar career as a Kodiak and repeated trips to the state tournament, Laney will take her talents to Colorado College where her father, Rick S., is the head women’s volleyball coach.  Laney is expected to make an impact for the Div. III Tigers this season as a powerful, outside hitter, who has excellent court sense and a feel for the game.  Mark your calendars and head across town for some exciting CC volleyball action this year.

Jaydi S. signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Concordia University in Nebraska, where the Bulldogs have earned NAIA national attention and numerous conference championships. Although Jaydi only began playing basketball her junior year at CSS, the coaching staff was impressed with this 3-sport athlete and her work ethic, natural abilities, and eagerness to learn the game.  She is expected to make an impact as a forward with a knack for rebounding and quickness running the floor.

Stay tuned for season updates as these past Kodiaks put their skills to work at the next level and make us proud.
