Kodiaks News · Boys’ Volleyball Shows Improvement: Closes Out Season with Pride

Boys’ volleyball is new to Colorado high schools, but don’t tell the boys that.  This pilot program, which is still being considered for a CHSAA sport, is attracting more athletes than anticipated when it began three years ago.  This year’s Kodiak squad was competitive and played some exciting volleyball for the past few weeks of action.  Seniors Connor J., Keyton L., Dean T., and Joe L. provided leadership and a tenacious front row.  Juniors Jacky Z., Jamie B., Miles G., and sophomores Kyle J., Leggatt K. and Kohki T. all provide a strong nucleus for next year’s team.

Coach McQella Adams commented, “This team was a lot of fun to coach.  They were dedicated to learning and wanted to work hard to get better.  If they continue to hone their skills and play more volleyball in the off season, the future looks bright.”
