The #2 doubles team of Abrielle S. ’20 and Audrey B. ’22 beat the #1 seed Vanguard today, putting them in position for a playback. After a day of three matches, the dynamic duo prevailed over CSCS in 3 sets and earned a berth to the State tournament. This group of five will head up to Greeley on Wednesday, preparing to play a lot of tennis on Thursday and Friday against some of the best players statewide.
Coach Colleen Campbell added, “Another week of tennis and playing at the State tournament is an awesome experience for these girls. We will work to prepare them this week, both physically and mentally, to play their best tennis yet. Just having this opportunity to keep playing is already preparing us for next year as all of these players return.”
