Boys Varsity Tennis · Tennis: Strongest Showing in Years in Region 6

In one of the toughest tennis regionals in the state, the Kodiaks finished in fifth place with some tough play and one of the best showings in years.  Phillip W. ’22 and Hayden H. ’20 sealed 4th places at the #1 and #2 singles positions. Luke T. ’20 and Ben M. ’21 also finished in 4th place at the #1 doubles position.  At the #4 doubles spot, senior Matt P. wrapped up his CSS tennis career finishing in 3rd place with Aidan D. ’22.

Coach Marc Knutila commented, “I’m beyond happy with how Regionals went!  We finished in 5th place in our region with 4 of 7 positions making it through to the second day of play. The only positions we didn’t have make it through lost their matches in a 3rd set on Tuesday, and all of these could’ve gone either way. This is the best result CSS has had in this very tough region since I’ve been the coach.”
