Friday night the Kodiaks hosted the Buffaloes from Miami-Yoder for a Black Forest League matchup. The JV boys opened up the night with a 22-15 win in their first game of the year, a shortened event due to a shortage of players on Miami-Yoder’s side. The girls were victorious in a lopsided 63-2 win that included a balanced attack and ten players scoring. Mia C. ’22 led all scorers with 12 points, with Whitney R. ’23 (11) and Sarina M. (10) close behind.
The boys defeated the Buffaloes 47-31 after leading 31-15 at the half. Senior Luke T. finished the night with a double-double of 20 points and 12 boards. Seniors Kyle J. tallied 8 points and Spencer B. found the bucket for 7 points.
CSS is back in action Saturday when they host Peyton at Tutt Field House. Action starts at 1:00 with girls’ JV, followed by boys’ JV at 2:30, girls’ varsity at 4:00, and boys’ varsity at 5:30. Go Kodiaks!
