The CSS volleyball season ended tonight at the Fowler District 8 Regional. The girls in blue won the first set 27-25 over the #8 host team, the Fowler Grizzlies, while falling short 1-3 in the 2:00 match. After a 30-minute break the #29 Kodiaks played #17 Sanford before losing 0-3 in a hard-fought match.
On Friday, November 8, the #29 Kodiaks will play against host #8 Fowler at 2:00 p.m. for the first round of the Regional volleyball tournament. The girls traveled to Ordway today for their regular-season finale at the Crowley County H.S. Volleyball Tournament. Game play began at 10:00 a.m. with a 25-23, 25-18 victory over John Mall. Soon after the Kodiaks defeated the host team, Crowley County, 25-19, 25-20 before losing a close 3-game match to BFL rival Peyton 25-22, 15-25, 9-15.
